Are you talking about Hamas here? Then I agree. Since their violent take-over they've attacked and closed Christian schools, and their military is most defiantly ruling the country right now. Some day this group of people will get over their prejudice that excludes half of the population. Now that Hamas is in control, the little rights that women in Gaza have will most likely be taken away.

It's no wonder that thousands of Palestinians are trying to get in to Israel. It's paradise compared to Gaza.

No I was talking about Israel. We already know about how Muslims are towards Christians but I was referring to the Israelis

In regards to the takeover well it depends how you look at it. Violent yes, which I guess was the reason why US and Israel would supply Fatah with weapons and training to kill off members of their elected government, so who was trying to take over who? If China began training and arming members of our government to go after other members of government and they fought back that would be wrong? IDK about that one.

You must be talking about the article where it said the Palestinians were trying to get into Israel, well yes they have no choice BUT to get into Israel and if you had kept up on that story the people that were waiting in Israel so that they could get into the West Bank (while Israel held them there) the majority of them decided to return back to Gaza, and that included the many Fatah members that were trying to flee but were held in Israel at the crossing. They didnt want to go to Israel its the fact that they have no other choice since the West Bank is on the eastern side of Israel.

That really was a nice PR attempt that Israel tried to pull off making it appear as though they feld to Israel. LOL

Is it possible for you to point to sources in which you make these claims Pie? I'm always willing to look at the other side, so to speak...to make my evaluations more precise.
One more thing you failed to address is the Islamofascist agenda of HAMAS that would threaten many freedoms people of Israel have...HAMAS along with other Islamic nations are determined to destroy Israel all-together and force everyone under Islamic rule, which means people will not longer enjoy the freedoms they once had, especially the women. As dbates, put it. So far, their methods have been to inch their way into Israel to make a critical attack, but their tactics have become all too familiar and Israel doesn't allow that anymore. Israel has done a fantastic job at keeping these terrorists at bay despite all this biased criticism they receive.

Which way is it Pieman, this report says Israel is targeting Fatah gunmen

NABLUS, West Bank (Reuters) - Israeli troops killed a Palestinian militant from President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah movement on Friday on the second day of a large-scale military raid targeting armed loyalists of the Western-backed leader.

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad has accused Israel of trying to undermine Abbas's emergency cabinet by conducting the raid despite the Palestinian leader's vows to take his own steps to disarm gunmen.

Which claims? About the Christians? About the land only being sold to Jewish people?

How is it possible that they are inching their way into Israel if Settlements are expanding from Jerusalem through to the West bank? How can you actually say that and be serious? You have read millions of articles about how houses of Palestinians are being razed everyday and taken over by the Israelis, you've read articles about their farms being severed with the placement of the Wall. How can you actually sit there and say the palestinians are inching their way in when its the other way around? Why is it you think they are attacking them? Because of their Democracy and freedoms? NO. Its because they are being exterminated slowly and they are getting their possesions taken from them. How can you say you are open to hearing both sides when you have seen so many articles regarding all these facts taking place.

They have not done a good job at getting rid of terrorists, they have been sucessful in creating more and more of them and its been 60 years of fighting. If they were so good they would never have problems. When will people get it through their minds that they are not as good at dealing with terrorism as they claim if they constantly create more problems for themselves and everyone involved with them. If you think that living behind a big wall and havig to occupy a people as well as living in such high security lifestyle is a great way to deal with terrorists I dunno what to tell you.

Really?...is that so?... Islamic extremism has existed for a long time... if Israel as a whole didn't do anything they would have been "annihilated" a long time ago...

Since Israel acceptance as a nation, the Palestinian authorities, the Islamic terrorist groups in the area, and other Muslim states have tried to destroy Israel... Yes Israel has committed attrocities, but it is in response to what the Palestinian authorities, the Palestinian terrorist groups and other Muslim nations have been doing to them forever...

Islamic extremism don't need any reason to do what they do...

Take a look at the rest of the world where "Islamic extremism" exists and you will see the same problem happening all over the globe...

For example, take a look at what the Arab militias, who are Islamic extremists and the Islamic government of Sudan have been doing....

Yes they have and as I've said a million times now, they knew full well what was going to happen , yet they still did what they wanted to do, which is very much still in practice today.

"What, me a spy?" Ruth Zucker felt as if she was struck by a lightning, when she received the proposal in the spring of 1937 to work for the Haganah, the Jewish underground organization. She was 23 years old and three years ago followed her lover, a physician, to Haifa. Then, the land of Palestine stood under English administration. In this book she talks about her dangerous as well as successful twelve years long career as a "mole" in the British administration and at the United Nations.

The United Nations predecessor's decision was made in 1920 at a conference in San Remo and it became the task of Great Britain to take care of the fulfillment of this proclamation. This fact was the legal basis for the future Zionist buildup of the Land of Israel, and on the other side, the reason for the conflict with the Arab neighbors. This conflict escalated as a result of the 16th Zionist Congress in Geneva in 1929. There, at the urging of Chaim Weizmann, the enlarged Jewish Agency for Palestine was founded. In the eyes of the Arab leaders, this enlarged Jewish Agency meant a "Zionist government," which had only one goal: to expel the Arab inhabitants from Palestine.

The following Arab-Jewish confrontations due to Jewish settlement plans took on a larger and larger scale, and the British Army soon became involved on a wide front. The British, at the beginning of their mandate gave the Arabs to understand that a new homeland would be created for them, "which would stretch to the coast of the Mediterranean Sea". Regrettably, this never happened. As the world events unfolded, Great Britain became greatly worried that the Arab world could make an alliance with Hitler's Germany; this concern strengthened their support for the Arabs. In the British policy-setting "White Book" of May 17, 1939 it was stated: "To appease the Arabs, the Jewish immigration quote is to be drastically reduced to 75,000 for the next five years, and after that immigrants can only be allowed with the consent of the Arabs." With that, the Balfour Declaration was effectively put on indefinite hold, and the dramatic result was that "at the time of the most urgent danger for the European Jews the gates of the old-new homeland were closed for a new Jewish mass immigration."

It was only then that the Jewish Agency started to undertake the illegal immigration, and many refugee dramas took place on land and especially at sea, which the writer Leon Uris memorialized with his unforgettable novel "Exodus".

Because of the fact that also after 1945 the British policy of the "White Book" continued, Jewish special commandos were built up for the fight against the English and the Arabs. David Ben Gurion ordered the Haganah, the secret self-defense organization of the Jews, to take up armed struggle.

This is the same woman who took part in the King David Hotel bombing who recently was attending the dedication at the hotel for their "Heroic" efforts. It wasn't just to the response of the Palestinian attacks. The israelis committed many attrocities on their own without provocation.

Heres a crazy idea, it's Israel's land, always was, and quite frankly always will be. The question to be asked I guess would be should we give the southwest of the US to mexico? They do have a claim to it dont they? A little less propaganda and Jew hating and a little more FACT and TRUTH and this could be a great place.

The #1 killer of Palestinian Children is their own parents when they strap bombs on them for money from Syria and Saudi Arabia. We shall seeprobably soon enough how Americans will feel when they geta little taste of the Jews life. Daily bombings, and targeting of your children and the places they hang out. I wonder if you will be as caring and supportive of our suicide murderers.

The so called Palestinians have been offered statehood and their own Nation no less than 6 times, funny thing is they keep saying "NO!".

I find another thing quite interesting also. Fatah (also a terrorist group) fights Hamas in this thing and you all say great Fatah is getting rid of terrorists. Israel kills Hamas and you say the Jews are murdering poor Palestinians. Interesing how the Terrorists become poor inocents depending on who is taking them out...

For all those that would love to help palestinians and many others take those damn dirty Jews out, I hear that they are taking recruits for a soon attack. I believe its called the "ARMEGEDDON BRIGADE", you should enlist and go help those poor Palestinians. TIP: if you believe in Christianity in any way, DO NOT!!! tell your poor Palestinian innocents about it when you get there to help them.

Oh here's a touching story, one I see often, about a poor Palestinian dad who had to strangle his own 13 year old daughter. No really he had too she had the audacity to get raped by 4 boys over 17, the little slut had to be put down. So says allah, so says dad!!!

I thought you were a journalist? How is it that it always has been their land? LOL Maybe stick with journalism because obviously you arent versed very well in history. So quit with the arab hating and stop trying to make as though the palestinians never existed. They were thrown out by the Romans over 1.5 thousand years ago.

Oh you are one of "them" with the "so-called" ,"never existed", "Philistine", "Philistina" thing going on.

When Israel kills 5 innocent Palestinians to get 1 guilty Hamas, yes they are innocent people and Israel is murdering them, even though you think them less then humans , regardless of what you may think, they are people.

Mr. Journalist as disgusting as an example you have chosen to post up in an attempt to prove your righteous rant. The President of Israel is being charged with RAPE. Want another one? Israeli IDF soldiers held a 12 year old girl in a motel room and raped her repeatedly for over a period of several days. They said she consented to it. You are not a biased journalist at all.
That much is obvious.

The Jewish Kingdoms of Ancient Judah and Israel
The archeological record indicates that the Jewish people evolved out of native Cana'anite peoples and invading tribes. Some time between about 1800 and 1500 B.C., it is thought that a Semitic people called Hebrews (hapiru) left Mesopotamia and settled in Canaan. Canaan was settled by different tribes including Semitic peoples, Hittites, and later Philistines, peoples of the sea who are thought to have arrived from Mycenae, or to be part of the ancient Greek peoples that also settled Mycenae.

According to the Bible, Moses led the Israelites, or a portion of them, out of Egypt. Under Joshua, they conquered the tribes and city states of Canaan. Based on biblical traditions, it is estimated that king David conquered Jerusalem about 1000 B.C. and established an Israelite kingdom over much of Canaan including parts of Transjordan. The kingdom was divided into Judea in the south and Israel in the north following the death of David's son, Solomon. Jerusalem remained the center of Jewish sovereignty and of Jewish worship whenever the Jews exercised sovereignty over the country in the subsequent period, up to the Jewish revolt in 133 AD.

The Assyrians conquered Israel in 722 or 721 B.C. The Babylonians conquered Judah around 586 B.C. They destroyed Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem, and exiled a large number of Jews. About 50 years later, the Persian king Cyrus conquered Babylonia. Cyrus allowed a group of Jews from Babylonia to rebuild Jerusalem and settle in it. However, a large number of Jews remained in Babylonia, forming the first Jewish Diaspora. After the reestablishment of a Jewish state or protectorate, the Babylonian exiles maintained contact with authorities there. The Persians ruled the land from about 530 to 331 B.C. Alexander the Great then conquered the Persian Empire. After Alexander's death in 323 B.C., his generals divided the empire. One of these generals, Seleucus, founded a dynasty that gained control of much of Palestine about 200 B.C. At first, the new rulers, called Seleucids, allowed the practice of Judaism. But later, one of the kings, Antiochus IV, tried to prohibit it. In 167 B.C., the Jews revolted under the leadership of the Maccabeans and either drove the Seleucids out of Palestine or at least established a large degree of autonomy, forming a kingdom with its capital in Jerusalem. The kingdom received Roman "protection" when Judah Maccabee was made a "friend of the Roman senate and people" in 164 B.C. according to the records of Roman historians.

Palestine From Roman to Ottoman Rule
About 61 B.C., Roman troops under Pompei invaded Judea and sacked Jerusalem in support of King Herod. Judea had become a client state of Rome. Initially it was ruled by the client Herodian dynasty. The land was divided into districts of Judea, Galilee, Peraea and a small trans-Jordanian section, each of which eventually came under direct Roman control. The Romans called the large central area of the land, which included Jerusalem, Judea. Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, Judea, in the early years of Roman rule. Roman rulers put down Jewish revolts in about A.D. 70 and A.D. 132. In A.D. 135, the Romans drove the Jews out of Jerusalem. The Romans named the area Palaestina, at about this time. The name Palaestina, which became Palestine in English, is derived from Herodotus, who used the term Palaistine Syria to refer to the entire southern part of Syria, meaning "Philistine Syria." Most of the Jews who continued to practice their religion fled or were forcibly exiled from Palestine, eventually forming a second Jewish Diaspora. However, Jewish communities continued to exist in Galilee, the northernmost part of Palestine. Palestine was governed by the Roman Empire until the fourth century A.D. (300's) and then by the Byzantine Empire. In time, Christianity spread to most of Palestine. The population consisted of Jewish converts to Christianity and paganism, peoples imported by the Romans, and others who had probably inhabited Palestine continuously.

No need to respond to what is clearly a myopic and jew hating view. History as he puts it oes show who have been there in that region. Whether you take the NYT Article of 1909 or any writings prior or after. If he wants to play semantics the Palestinians that Romans kicked out were JEWS not arabs or persians. Besides I don't play nice with those that support killig children with children and support terror acts against civilians.

You have a nice day though, IGNORANCE IS BLISS.
