or contact eye lenses.

Lasik is the best option. My brother had it done (he was in the Army), and it's an acceptable treatment.

Yeah with laser surgery, the cornea lens can be re-profiled to restore normal 20/20 vision. No need for contacts which the military wouldn't accept anyway. It should be fairly painless... Just expensive.

My eyes are awful and I passed the eye exam years ago.

Unless they've changed the rules, your eyes shouldn't be a problem. But army issue glasses are not pretty.

You can still get in the military with imperfect sight. I did.
However, you will be limited as to the jobs you qualify for.

Actually 20/10 is better than 20/20. If you were nearsighted, it would be 20/50, something like that.

20/20 means at 20 feet you can see what a person with normal eyesight can see from 20 feet.

20/10 means that you can see from 20 feet what a normally sighted person can see from 10 feet. Etc.

Anyway, assuming you are in fact slightly nearsighted, there are exercises you can do for your eyes that can improve your eyesight. I've known some people who have significantly improved their perscription by doing these. May not work for you, but it can work.

There's a lot of source material out there about eyesight improvement via exercise, and here's one just to give you an idea.

I'm not going to call this a cure, but to keep your eyes from getting worse you need to add vitamin A to your diet. That doesn't mean supplements it means eating foods rich in beta carotein(any fruit or vegie that is red, yellow or orange).Your body will convert the carotein into usable vitamin A.

I guess vitamin A is very important and the good sources of vitamin A will be Liver, beef, Liver, chicken, Milk, Cheese, cheddar, Milk, Egg, Carrot juice, Carrots, Spinach, Kale, Carrots, Cantaloupe, Spinach, Apricots, Apricot nectar, Papaya, Mango, Oatmeal, Peas, Tomato juice, Peaches. Now it is your turn to help me. My father suffers from asthma and the doctor has advised him to take bronchoSoothe tissue salts. Do you know about this medicine…I mean is it worth.
