There was a thread not to long ago, that mentioned the differences between;

Misinformation and Disinformation
Well, considering the chances or odds of us here at ATS covering that, and the recent Gov detailing it, not even a month later. Looks almost coincidental to me, almost. The first link is most informative, how ever I recall reading it some time before. Second link, is more of a lesson by example.
