BJ Penn vs Jens Pulver tonight...

Okay, I'll admit that I'm just an all out geek for MMA. I think the UFC is on the right track, and their marketing (specifically having big fights on TV for free, and a great online infrastructure) is what is crushing boxing (please, no one bring up "pro" wrestling ... it isn't a sport).

Tonight's fight between BJ Penn and Jens Pulver should be a classic between the submission artist and the striker. The undercard is awesome as well, and Joe Lauzon is an up and coming fighter that is fun to watch.

I'm thinking BJ will get a submission in the second round.

I also think Jens has a great nickname... "Little Evil" that is just so epic.

BJ dominates...

BJ Penn submits Jens Pulver with a rear naked choke early in the second round.

Joe Lauzon won impressively as well.

I'm going to my DVR right now. I'm a huge MMA fan.

This fight has been building for a long time. I'm an old school BJ Penn fan and I'm thinking he's going to take it.

I have a feeling Pulver is gonna take this one...

If you look at my OP (an unedited OP I might add) you'll see that I predicted a second round win by submission... To BJ Penn.

Yeah I watched the first viewing (9pm on the west coast) and even had my tivo set to record the event. I saw another post in this thread and clicked on it thinking it was just some pre-fight chatter and it was you posting the results. I almost threw my mouse through the monitor. lol

Yeah, maybe shold've added "SPOILER WARNING" to the title...
