Ok, so I have been trying to figure out where the hell this mark on my arm came from. I noticed it when I was sitting here at work. It looks to be a burn mark, it is in a perfect circle. The skin area that is affected is scarred, the skin is darker and disfigured. The circle is good size, big enough to where I would have noticed it before.

Anyone have any ideas?

My first idea is to take a picture of it and post it.

MY 2nd idea is for you to describe the injury in greater detail, compare its size to a us coin? where on your arm is the mark? Does it hurt when you touch it? Does the skin have any feeling at all?

Please post a picture and elaborate on your condition, as we can not make a proper diagnosis with the limited information you have provided.

Could it be some kind of spider bite? I have been bitten by unknown species of spider and it started off as circular. A few days later my entire arm was swollen up to my neck and could not breathe. I had to go to the hospital and I still have the tiny scar on my wrist. I have no idea what kind of spider it was, nobody new.

Thanks for the replies. I am unable to take a picture of it here at work, but once I get home I will do so. The circle is a little smaller than a dime in circumference. It is on my left arm, towards the head of the tricep. It does not hurt at all when I touch it, the skin barely has any feeling, if any at all.

Be care it is not a Brown Recluse. It can kill you.

Leave a small burnt like circle on you and eats away your flesh.

Not trying to scare you but read up.

Cool, thanks for the link. I live in Colorado, so it seems the Brown Recluse doesn't reside in this area. The circle also does not hurt to press on it. It is not red or infected around the surrounding area.

One of my friends went through a brief period of waking up in the morning and finding burn marks on his body - he's a smoker though, so we never really took him too seriously at the time.

At one point he was so sure about the marks not being there before he went to bed that he actually accused us of branding him during the night. Trusting lad.

I've heard stories before about burn marks being linked to mischievous/malevolent ghosts, have you had any encounters or history with actual or suspected ghosts in you house?

My friend was also experimenting with astral projection at the time under my guidance, after the burns though he completely gave up on it out of paranoia.
