Could This Have Been A Preminition..?

Although this isnt a recent dream, It still bothers me to this day..wondering if it was a preminition...or just a random dream. Please try and help me define my nightmare.

It started off like this.
I was walking down the street, and I randomly walked into a hospital...I walked up a set of stairs, and the whole hospital seemed to be empty. I walked down a long hallway and I noticed that all the doors in the hospital were closed except for one, and If I recall correctly, the number of the room was 126. I walked into the room and saw one my very good friends laying on the hospital bed. I stared at him and then started to cry. After a while as I was about to turn and walk out the door, I took one last look at my friend and he twitched his body. I started crying even more, and then I noticed that he was pointing to a bouquet of flowers next to his bed...
So as terrified as I was, I got up enough guts to walk over to the hospital bedside and pick up the bouquet. As I started walking towards the exit, a man ran into the room and started pulling a white blanket over my friends head. When I reached the outside world again, I took a look at the small card that was resting between the stems of the bouquet of purple flowers.
It read: I lived a good life, Dont smoke. signed by Eric.
I held the flowers close to me as I continued to walk to no where, I felt like I had to get somewhere. So I'm still not sure how I got there, but I ended up at the ocean. I walked over to a rock, sat down and threw my sandals in the water and put my feet in the ocean. I layed down and fell asleep on the rock, and when I woke up, my friend was standing over me, looking at me, he said nothing, he turned away from me and slowly started to walk away from me. I sat up and watched him dissapear.

Now for the weird part.
I had this dream about 5 months ago, and about 3 months ago, The friend that was in my dream, His mom passed away, Ive never met his mom, so I was thinking that maybe I just took it out on him. I'm not sure if this is in anyway related to the dream I had about him, but if theres anyone here who can help me figure this one out, then please post a reply. Thankyou.
