Absolutely disgusting.

These animals should bear the brunt of the Law in it's most draconian methods.

What worries me though is will these perpetrators even get the sentences they deserve?

The last time Britain had a coup of this magnitude in fighting child pornography was in 1998; the infamous "Wonderland" case, dubbed Operation Cathedral in Britain. 200 people worldwide were caught, from countries such as Australia, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, and Sweden.
The Wonderland Club (so named in homage to Lewis Carroll) saw only eight of its members face indictment in Britain, seven of which saw a jury (after the "suicide" of one). For the disgusting crimes these people perpetrated on children, they received sentences ranging from 12 to 30 months!
In the U.S., 34 suspects were rounded up. Some of whom wound up dead; including a retired Air Force Pilot, a microbiologist at the University of Connecticut, and a computer consultant in Colorado.

Lets hope that justice pervades in this case, but somehow I don't think so...

With wireless access and these war-drivers being so prolific I just hope that they take their time and make sure the people being accused are actually the ones guilty. I have to tell so many of my customers who have wireless to always make sure they have their security on when they use wireless routers. There are so many open connections out there. It wouldn't take much to sit in front of someones home and do these kinds of things and leave the true owner of the IP to hold the bag. Many of these wireless manufacturers should be enabling by default the wireless security on routers.
