TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- An Iranian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) announced that it would pay a $150,000 prize to anyone who could put
into effect a death sentence decree issued by the Late Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, against Salman Rushdie for blasphemy.

I guess Iran has still not gotten over his book-in theory, Iran called this off some time ago. apparently that was wrong, is was just a delay.
I wonder if his being knighted in UK had anything to do with this.
