who should portray...?

alright, this is basically relating to all the new comic book movies and all the actors that they're getting for them
we have Robert Downey jr playing Tony Stark
we have the f4 being portrayed by Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, and Michael Chiklis
we now have Ed Norton playing Bruce Banner
various X-Men have been cast

however, we have a few vacancies

Tobey Maguire is stepping down for Spider-Man 4-6 (or so he says)
we don't have anyone to play Thor yet
same goes for Captain America

3 massive sets of shoes to fill, who do you think we'll get to fill them?

honestly, who can take up the shield and truely portray Captain America in all of his Hitler-punching glory?

anyway, this is basically a thread relating to who you think should portray any superheroes who have yet to be cast in movies.

I've read a lot of people liking the idea of Matt Damon playing Steve Rogers.

Personally I'd rather a "no name" actor because I want to see A Captain America movie not another vehicle for a popular actor.

You know a no name actor may be the way to go for ol Cap....or at least a lesser known actor.

As for Spidey....not sure about that....
Thor I thought would be really cool to see Karl Urban play him but I heard Pathfinder was horrible.

I feel sorry for the person who's gotta fit in tobey's shoes for the role of spider man.The franchise won't be able to make as much in the box office when the original cast departs,even if they round up more bad guys for spidey to beat up. It would get tiring if we see fight after fight with peter parker being victorious and saving the day.:bash:
