It has been obvious that water used to be on the surface of mars in it's ancient history. We now know for certain there's ice and lots of it, enough
to take up a large percentage of the surface if melted correctly. We now have pictures of the Martian surface which appears to have a small puddle of
water, taken by the mars rovers. If we use our Earthly understanding of life and how it evolves then it's not ludicrous to think life possibly may
STILL exist in a very primitive form on Mars.
