Stem cell research and its' use in various neurological disorders jhas been a controversial subject in the past, primarily due to the cells being
taken from human embryos resulting in their death.
However,
new research has indicated that it may be possible to re-work standard
skin cells in such a way that they are a reliable substitute for embryotic stem cells.
This removes the stigma from the use of stem cells, and also opens the door to new levels of research previously unobtainable due to moral grounds,
including new lines of clone development.
