Tehran - Three people were killed and nine injured in southern Iran by Cyclone Gonu, state television network IRIB reported Thursday.
Residents of the ports Jask and Chabahar in the provinces of Hormuzgan and Sistan-Beluchistan respectively were ordered to leave and seek temporary shelter in safer areas for the next 24 hours at least

Tehran - Two provinces in southern and south-western Iran were bracing for Cyclone Gonu, with residents of at least two port cities ordered to evacuate, Iran's meteorological institute announced Wednesday.
Seems like the Cyclone has caused minimal damage, but there is still loss of life.
Does anyone reckon that this was manmade? or with todays technology do you think it possible to increase the ferocity of what would naturally be a mild storm? With reading about the possibilities of weather machines or the powers of HAARP, will we be seeing more of this type of destructive weather systems in the future?
