The Cure any fans out there?

just wonderd if anyone here likes the cure as much as myself

I love the Cure too. I got Disintegration and Blood Flowers in the cd player right now. I've saw them when Disintegration came out, and that was the best line up I've seen live, although I haven't seen them live since.

Never seen em. Don't know much about em, except that I like some of their music. What I do like, I like a lot though.

I think all their material prior to Disintegration is great. From Disintegration onwards they really stunk and went for the commercial success. 17 seconds/Pornography was their peak musically.

Disintegration is like their best album. Never heard anyone who didn't love it.

Well then let me be the first. Their earlier material is far better and not watered down commercial stuff. It's a matter of preference I guess, I just hate when bands commercialize to heavily.

HUGE Cure fan since high school. I have every album, rarities box set, live stuff...

I really love the classic stuff from 17 Seconds through Pornography, but I like tons of other stuff too, especially Disintigration. I think Bloodflowers is kinda underrated too.

I learned to play drums largely by playing along to Cure records.

Did you know that Electra thought Disintigration was commercial suicide and didn't want to put it out? That it was too arty and would never sell? (Remember, this was right after Kiss Me x3, which was pretty poppy at times)
