Inspired by the writing I saw today and three bottles of Bawls consumed in one sitting, I went a writing. Enjoy two stories, abbil. I'll probably post more as the stuff hits me. enjoy! (EDIT: After a fourth bottle, I have decided to enter these stories Enjoy!)

Falling

Greg was finally free. Free in a bad way, but free none the less. He almost smirked to himself as he fell back-first from the twenty-third story of his office, a survival knife buried to the hilt in his chest. Shards of glass twinkled, reflecting the sunlight as he tumbled towards the ground and into total self awareness. He could feel the pain from his wound, but it was detached and distant. His mind drifted back to the decisions he had made leading up to this point as he watched the windows of adjacent buildings streak past.

He should have known better than to have fired the quiet young man himself. Too late, he thought to himself with a pang of regret (albeit one that lasted the merest seconds) as the wind screamed in his ears. Alas, it was always the quiet ones. Soon, he was distracted by the globules of blood that seemed to hover, perfectly round, in the air. Dark, glistening orbs of it surrounded him as he fell, turning him into the center of his own private universe as it burst into life around him.

Flash.

His thoughts suddenly snapped back to his first love, a young brunette named Julia. He almost felt the tears streak down his face again as she told him that she had found someone else. His faced had remained expressionless the entire time, but the tears still came.

Flash.

High school graduation. It was supposed to be the proudest day of his life. His parents didnt even show up- they had better things to do. While his classmates had partied and celebrated, he had simply sat by himself, nursing a beer. He had nothing left to look forwards to. No cared, anyways.

Flash.

The years of work had passed quickly. They had drowned out the monotonous pain of life, replaced it with a hollow sort of acceptance.

Flash. Flash. Flash.

His entire, short life paraded in front of his eyes. Hell, he was only twenty seven. In that time, he had grown himself a protective shell to block out the pain of life. Unfortunately, in doing so, he had blocked out the good things in life as well. Shackles of gold are shackles none the less. As he fell, he realized where he had gone wrong. Now he was free- free from obligation, free from the birdcage of his own making. A single act of violence had freed him; it didnt surprise him that people were always whining for peace. As the world rushed to meet him, he smiled for the first time in years.

At least, he did until his back collided with a Lexus parked below and all his thoughts ended in a mess of red and twisted metal.

Dramatic Monologue #24601

Cold. So cold. It burns, like icefire. Always so cold. Dont know why do you? Why am I here, anyways? To get better means I wont be cold, right? What did I do to deserve this? Always cold. Like little knives all over. Must get out get out to where its warm. Will you help me? Then stay here and freeze!

KENNEL CANNOT HOLD WHAT IS NOT DOGGY!

Dammit, so cold. Im starting to see in and around and beyond and all everywhere again. EverythingI stand on people who stand on others who stand on me. They even trample you as you trample others. Bloody hell, cant you see them all? Cold, everywhere I see, all the other places and people. All I want is out. Warmth. To rule all! But the They. They come for me. They take my warmth. They take me to the Blue Room, put me on the Pain Table. The They hurt me! Damn them for putting me in here. Its so cold all the time. I will wreak terrible vengeance upon them!

Nothing but pain and freezing here.

Wet. Wet and cold, the They make me. No warmth, no heat, no fire. Just cold, always cold. I hate them! But those in and around and beyond theyre the only ones I can trust. No, not even you. Are those beyond cold? Do they have heat? Maybe I can take it from them. Then Ill be warm and happy. No more cold and wet and here. Theyll never know. You wont tell, will you? The They would punish me for that, with much pain and cold.

They heard me! God no, save me please!

I need out. Out now. Im dying. Its cold, always so cold, and the They are so cruel. Just look at what they did to my fingers! I used to be a painter. Now I cant. Please, I beg of you, save me! Wait, no.youre one of the They, arent you? Mercy, I beg of you! Please, Ive done nothing to deserve this. Hide me, please, before They get here! No, pleaseplease.no more..

Yes! That now complete, I expect commentary, editation, ect. from you. That's the only way this community will grow.... commenting and replying to one another. Can't wait to hear from you all.
