Got this idea after recalling the trinidade ufo incident which took place january 16th, 1958.

i want this thread to continue going.. anyone with what they consider one of the best evidence cases.. post away, with a source, summary and pictures if you can.

so.. i'll start it off.. with of course, the trinidade ufo incident!

NICAP has carefully studied prints (but not the negatives) of the four successful exposures of a Saturn-shaped UFO, the verbal accounts and relevant facts. The UFO was sighted about noon January 16, 1958, from the deck of the Brazilian IGY ship "Almirante Saldanha" by a retired Brazilian Air Force officer, Capt. Jose Teobaldo Viegas, and Amilar Vieira Filho, chief of a group of submarine explorers on board. They alerted Almiro Barauna, an expert submarine photographer, who managed to take four successful pictures. Many other officers and men, attracted by the commotion, soon witnessed the UFO, including Capt.-Lt. Homero Ribeiro, ship's dentist. Capt. Viegas later stated: "The First view was that of a disc shining with a phosphorescent glow, which--even in daylight--appeared to be brighter than the moon. The object was about the apparent size of the full moon. As it followed its path across the sky, changing to a tilted position, its real shape was clearly outlined against the sky: that of a flattened sphere encircled, at the equator, by a large ring or platform."

i acknowledge that the majority of these cases probably have been posted before. but if we can get a thread with as much information on these cases, and compile a sort of "hall of best evidence".. hence the title, i think it would benefit to have them all in one thread.. that way, in spite of recent times where ufo cases can be easily hoaxed due to the overwhelming flow of technology.. we can look back on the most intriguing cases with the, say it together.. best evidence!

Looks like a bird to me.

perhaps, but the witnesses credibility, being naval intelligence and hynek's conclusion to the whole ordeal leads me to believe otherwise.


all of them are high in their rank, if you read the report, there seems to be no alterior motive, especially at that time, and they all seem initially shocked.

another vital factor which makes me believe it isn't a bird.. the one who took the photograph.. keep in mind that he's an expert submarine photographer

The $30,000 UFO photograph is ludicrous. When I looked at it some time ago I was looking for the object and when I found out that he was claiming the bird in the shot was his UFO I nearly spat my coffee out. It's a Seagull!, a $30,000 Seagull....

Let´s not forget the Disclosure Project please...

More credible witnesses in one project than all the rest of the viewings that were reported after WWII.

If you have seen their testimony on the three hour summary I doubt you will need more evidence that at least the technology exists, alien or not.

Great idea, Malakai! I was thinking of making a thread like this myself seeing how the recent months and weeks have brought forward a couple of really good/convincing UFO videos.

I'd like to start off with some HQ footage of a UFO seen in southern France just a few weeks ago. Some of you have already seen it, but I bet a lot of you haven't.

Go here and download the video to have a look at what they saw that day just about a month ago. Oh, and so far there's no doubt whether it's real or not. IF this this is CGI, it's better than any multi million dollar Hollowood CGI I've ever seen...!

The second one I think you all know of, the Tallahassee footage. What a lot of people Don't know about though is that a Very similar UFO was video'd in the UK just some time ago. Again I'd love to see more activity in the UFO over Tallahassee thread. Oh, and since the 2-part footage is kinda buried, here's the link to those.. watch the beginning where he explains how the UFO made instant high speed turns, moving in a figure four pattern.

At 53:30 there's video footage of same object pictured above, which is declared genuine by experts. I'm not sure if its ET (could be some RC toy) but its defintely there.

Another stunning piece of evidence is the Cometa Report (which didnt get a lot of attention, strangely enough)

In 1999 an important document was published in France entitled, UFOs and Defense: What must we be prepared for? ("Les Ovni Et La Defense: A quoi doit-on se préparer?"). This ninety-page report is the result of an in-depth study of UFOs, covering many aspects of the subject, especially questions of national defense. The study was carried out over several years by an independent group of former "auditors" at the Institute of Advanced Studies for National Defense, or IHEDN, and by qualified experts from various fields. Before its public release, it has been sent to French President Jacques Chirac and to Prime Minister Lionel Jospin. The report is prefaced by General Bernard Norlain of the Air Force, former Director of IHEDN, and it begins with a preamble by André Lebeau, former President of the National Center for Space Studies (Centre National D’études Spatiales), or CNES, the French equivalent of NASA. The group itself, collective author of the report, is an association of experts, many of whom are or have been auditors of IHEDN, and it is presided over by General Denis Letty of the Air Force, former auditor (FA) of IHEDN.
