Another item of interest from the Archive.org Collection.
The time is 11:07AM.
The reporter claims that "another collapse or explosion" happened "about 2 or 3 minutes ago".
He then claims that:
"but at a quarter to 11 there was another collapse or explosion following the 10:30 collapse of the second tower and a firefighter that rushed by us
estimated that 50 storeys went down... uh... The streets filled with smoke... er... like a forest fire roaring down a canyon "
At the time of his report he was on Duane Street, which is north of the WTC site. Odds are he as probably near West Broadway, which is in line with
WTC7. maps.google.com...
Maybe the firefighter heard the explosion captured in
this video. And, if you really want to get conspiratorial, maybe his role was to act as a first witness (with a script) to the
'collapse'. The problem is, the explosion never brought WTC7 as planned.
What I can't figure out is if he actually reported 2 seperate "collapse/explosion" events, or if his perception of time was just out of wack. Can
anyone weigh in on this?
