I have a few cases that I believe are true unknowns that I may post in the future but at this early stage I would appreciate a response to this
question.
Well, sure there are some photos and videos not labeled as hoaxes. There have always been. You can go back to the Trent/McMinnville photos, for
instance. They've never been shown to be a hoax. Consensus among the UFO experts who met with the Trents is that they were way too dumb to have
faked them. They show a nice, clear flying saucer.
I think
www.ufoevidence.org does an excellent job of presenting the best cases, new and classic, and doesn't
waste too much time with junk coming from anonymous sources.
The problem with these things, of course, is that even the best photo or video in the world doesn't exactly prove much of anything. The things in
the photos all flew away, and didn't really leave much of anything behind we could get a good test done on. Could they have been aliens from another
planet? Maybe, except we don't know of any life anywhere but here, so that's kind of like trying to explain one unknown with another. Could they
be military craft? Possibly, except for the descriptions of the weird creatures that float around in them, who probably aren't Top Gun. (See the
Hickson/Parker Pascagoula abduction for an example.) Otherwise, they could be things from different dimensions and time that are just beyond our
limited understanding. Don't know.
Which is why we're still looking and debating. Some of us for decades, now. Fortunately, the amount of material available for study is so
substantial that it encourages continued study, and offers some hope that with additional good data we can start to figure these things out.
