Rare Fossilized Shark, Frilled Shark Caught on Tape.

Frilled Sharks have been around for at least 50 million years and haven't changed much. Their sightings are very rare as they live about 2,000 feet underwater.

It is a shame that this specimen had to die, but I don't know what the marine park caretakers thought was going to happen to the shark. They would have known it would die in captivity.
