This one is puzzling me. Am I the last non-psychic person in Britain?
I noticed this phenomenon many years back when I was playing my favourite Michael Schenker guitar solos in my head and my supervisor came out of his office muttering "bloody guitar solos". The phenomenon grew and I noticed that more people would tilt their heads down to ostensibly 'read' thoughts. I have tested this out with many people in my profession and I am sure that they are capable of a crude form of telepathy. After many experiences which were negative with Freemasonry, I think that Freemasons and their affiliates teach telepathy as a form of one-upmanship with non-initiates. I would like to hear views on this. I feel like the last American Virgin - but- I don't really want to know what people think of me so I think I will stay non-telepathic.

How very strange that people deny telepathy although I have detected it from all races. Occasionally it transpires as a tingly feeling around my head which makes the hairs at te back of my head stand up. Even in an airlocked room.

I do not even doubt that it is not possible ,i myself with my wife, siblings, parents and on occasion certain friends have had thee occasional sense to contact or various other forms ..but mainly the person is thinking of you, needing to talk to you urgent and on ..but then NO as i have never read anyone's mind with 100% accuracy..neither any of them with me.

So as many on ATS can agree they have experienced it,i think we all have a certain degree on sensing for someone we care...ohh & most prob there are ATS members who can read minds with accuracy, but only they can answer if there are or if they choose.

With us (people i personally know) its more when we really need to get hold or thinking/missing the person, just the usual esp ..

But i believe there are those out there who can read minds ..but the whole of UK ?? Maybe a lot of Brits or those you know ..and so many others from all over the world ..but if a whole country is able to actually read minds they would be by far superior than any country in the world...like an X-Men race

Every country have their own, some keep it for themselves, some could be working for the governments or those agencies with "initials" ..

I believe ..but i ain't a mind reader of that range.

From what you have written it sounds more like you are the special one here. You are boardcasting your thoughts with enough strength that others can't help but pick them up. You should try harder to read the thoughts of others. It stands to reason that a good sender would make a good reciever.

Of course I could be completely wrong.(and those that don't believe in psi will probably point that out)

I find that sometimes, I can think of something, and then someone will say it, but I am not sure if that is me picking up what they think before they say it, or me broadcasting. I am tempted to go for the latter, as i often have a train of thought leading up to this thought that someone else announces. I cannot conciously control it though, but I notice it frequently. And yes, it happens on a far more frequent basis with people I am close to.

And yes, I am a Brit lol. But I dont think that ALL Brits are telepaths. I say this because Some just don't seem able to recieve the suggestion, or dont act upon it.

I really think that all people have the ability to both send and recieve, however most will be stronger in one or the other.Sounds like you have narrowed you ability down to being a sender. This to me normally denotes that you are also to some degree an empath and prone to being honest in general.I hope you can start keeping a journal on the subject and come back in a year to report your findings.

I try to be honest and straightforward and I agree, I think loudly to myself and maybe I am a good 'sender' but a lousy 'receiver'. What is an empath?

also, what is that tingling feeling I get when I feel that someone is 'focusing' and trying to receive my thoughts. Is this electrical? Does it suggest an extension of the spirit? Are we all connected as humans in some sort of mysterious way? I think junglelord feels that way but I do not have the intelligence to understand this hypothesis.

Hey hero, I also get that tingly feeling when someone is concentrating, I posted about it a while back.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

I've not really done much to try and look into it more, but perhaps with somone else who has the same experience, can try and 'discover' it more deeply. Feel free to U2U me.

I am aware of two phenomena. As Jabejaha mentions, one is a tingly/electrical feeling when someone focuses their mind. The other is a powerful feeling as if someone is pressing down on my brain. I assume the latter people are ultra powerful receivers. Occasioanlly, when no-one is around and I am in my car, I get the feeling of an extremely powerful scanning of my forehead as if by laser lights - are these remote scanners?

I have moments that make me think 'woah', even down to predicting when my great grandmother was going to die - but I doubt that all us eerie brits are psycic, perhaps as a nation we are more socially aware of each other?

That "tingling" sensation you are decsribing I have come to view a little differently. I have felt it also in similar circumstances and I have come to describe it as a dulling of my sense of touch. Which I think might be caused by a "reallocation" of my brain's resources to other matters.

Just a thought, no real evidence but my experiences.

Are there any remote scanners or powerful receivers who can clarify these sensations?

I've heard from a few folk throughout the UK that they've lost the ability to have telepathic experiences and even the ability to meditate. I'm included. Totally lost focus. Maybe it's the new police network. Can't remember what it's called but it's close to the human brain range, so I've read.

Do you think it is possible to suppress brain waves. I had a moment like this when I was writing up my PhD. I could not think straight and felt that my brain was being 'suppressed' somehow. I felt confused but still managed to pull through. I was gang stalked at about the same time and assume that it was due to this event. However, as I am writing I can feel the same phenomenon as if a powerful 'receiver' is sucking out my thoughts.

What "new" Police network?

I'm interested to hear what your on about, as I work in telecoms with the company that is providing the Police and other blue light services with their comms.

As for the subject matter.

I believe alot of people are psychic. I myself have regular episodes where me and my mates know exactly what each other is thinking. The same happens with my new girlfriend, I think something and she says it... Quite advantageous, if I can master it

I don't even have to try, I just think what they are about to say. The same happens in reverse, especially with my best mate, where they will think what I am about to say..

EDIT: I even know when I am about to get a text message or phone call, before the phone goes off. That I can do with anyone.

I can't remember what it's called. Is it TETRA or something?

It is TETRA, I've just looked it up.
www.tetrawatch.net...'ve had loads of psychic experiences, mind reading included, also I used to be good at focussing, not any more though. Perhaps I drink too much tea nowadays.Thought I'd mention this though - one night about 6 years ago I woke up thinking my bed was moving. Then I heard a crystal clear news article being read out. I heard this in my head but it was definitely audible, i.e. my ears picked it up. It went something like this - "as the body of -blank-blank- lies in the street, the police move in to free the hostages after a thirteen hour siege." I heard the name but in my excitement it vanished and now I haven't a clue what it was. I've even scoured the internet looking for "thirteen hour siege". Do you think maybe I picked up radio in a tooth filling??

TETRA isn't the name of the network.

TETRA stands for Terrestrial Trunked Radio and is a standard developed by ETSI for interoperability between vendor's (companies who make equipment) and carriers (companies who provide telecoms services). It's not just the Police who use it, but many different Government and Non-Government organisations around the world.

The new network which uses TETRA is called Airwave and is solely used to enable Emergency services to communicate underground. It became clear that during the 7th July 2005 attacks, emergency personnel were out of touch for long periods because their radio's did not work underground. Airwave is supposed to address that.

Here is a good Wiki article to look over:

TETRA
