Would it be possible for the Wesland Lynx to be manufactured under licence in the US to replace thier Hueys?

It would be perfectly possible Browno, Agusta have had agreements with Bell for decades, but I don't see the need. Would not the AW149 be a better bet as a Huey replacement, if indeed AW were to be the ones to supply such a helo?

another of the westland helo's is being built under licence in the US as the US101 so i dont see why not

Absolutely correct.
AW139 would also be a great huey replAcement
