• The use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes.
• The state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.
• A terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.
In The American Revolution, the military utilization of guerilla tactics (compliments of Native Americans) provided a much needed boost in the face of
traditional British combat formations. An irregular army built up in resistance against their occupying governing nation, and using unconventional,
sneaky tactics to kill more enemies effectively. Doe this make revolutionary american "troops" terrorists? For British soldiers who never
experienced that kind of ambush-style battle, i'm sure it did.
Muslim extremists and insurgents throughout Iraq most certainly fit the definition of terrorism. Or, in 200 years, will they be seen as
revolutionaries against an oppresive American occupier? I'm sure that depends on who ultimately wins.
So, the question i'm begging to ask. Can The Bush Administration also be defined as terrorist?
