some "terrorist groups" are really guerilla fighters locked in desperate military conflict against an entrenched military and state apparatus. they are labelled terrorists to demoralize and delegitimize they're struggle. Labelling all "terrorist groups" as morons i think is very inacurate.

You're right, but the terrorists groups doing it for the only purpose of killing people or for religious reasons are morans. When it comes to defend their homeland from invader it's ok or to fight a corrupt government.

Im well aware of the governments lack of caring for the common citizen, but not because of immigration issues.

It's a ``immigration`` issue, because it's ILLEGAL immigration, along with all the problems that it creates, but as you said it, it's another subject.

Do you know that from analysis of the radioactive fallout they can know where it was enriched? In which facility even, so they would know the country who gave a nuke. Of course they could said they ``lost`` it but intelligence reports would know the chances of that being true or not. If China would give a nuke of their own to some terrorist group, if it's not traced all the way by CIA/NSA, they'll know that China engaged in war against the US... and that is not good for them. That's why it's HIGHLY improbable if not impossible because of fear of consequences of doing that sort of things. Unless they plan a surprise attack right after the detonations... but you would then talk about nuclear war... that's why it's ignorant to say that China or Russia would give a nuke to some terrorist group.

True, they can trace it to reactors that produced the substance....

thus is why i believe the next atomic explosion will be from russian materials.

The amount of munitions and materials that were unsecured after the fall of the Soviet Union leads me to believe someone got something through the blackmarket.. and will smuggle it to either the US, Israel or the Greenzone in Baghdad.

This will be traced to Russia, but zip 'militarily' will be done, because its well known in the world the state of affairs after the fall of the soviet union.

They arent to blame for the explosion, but they are liable for its security.

the Men and Women that created the United States were terrorists until they won the revolutionary war. Had they lost, all would be hung, lose their holding, etc.

Being labeled a terrorist or freedom fighter depends if you win the conflict.


in 4 years FDR was able to effectively create a war strategy with Allies that won a WORLD WAR.

in 4 years, we have flailed about blindly, invaded a nation that had nothing to do with terrorism, created a situation where we are expending massive amounts of Capital ( blood and money ) with little to no return.

Are there terrorists..? yep you bet. did we respond to 9/11 appropriately...? No we did not.

For this to be a deterrent you would half to believe that mutual assured destruction is the deterrent. All through the cold war MAD worked with both China and Russia. Both understood what it meant and what it will do to a society. Now with the religious terrorists, you really think MAD will work? Some senior religious officials have been quoted to saying something to the efect that they would be hurt in a nuclear exchange but they would survive. That is pretty close to being paramont to saying MAD is not even a factor.
