Since i was young i have been having dejavu's quite regularily and it stopped freaking me out eventually. But as time has gone by the dejavu's seem to be remember more clearly. When they start now i recall the event and it could go upto 15 - maybe 20 seconds in some cases. But what really was odd was a dejavu about 4 years ago.

Back when i was in high school i was walking down the school corridor and suddenly i went into the dejavu i recalled the exact setting, who was on my left who was on my right how i was carrying my books where the chairs were placed. As i was walking down the corridor i knew small imaterial things such as when i turned my head to the left i saw a green pencil case ontop of a locker and some papers their identical to what i imagined. Now the scary part was when i turned around the corner. A split second before i turned the corner i got the next insight so to say. I knew that I would walk into a girl. Seeing this i took the corner wider and sure enough their was a girl cutting the corner just as i was. The fact that i saw her coming as if i was a few metres ahead of me and looking at exactly all the people coming down the corridor the strength of the light everything so real and just as it was about to see it in a second. While this split second image came to me where i could see ahead of my dejavu i remember feeling extremely dizzy.

Since then i have continued having dejavu's as i allways have, however i havent been able to see events prior to them actually happening as i did that one time. Since that time though i have been getting head spins alot of the time and feel dreamy alot. Lightheaded, dizzyness sometimes in conversations i tune out and go on my own accord dreamy. In lectures i also can't listen well or maybe thats plainly for the fact that my teachers are boring
however i do doubt thats the sole reason.

So i was wondering on a few things.
Firstly why do dejavu's occur?
Why am i getting headspins and why do i fall into my own zone so much now?
Why is this happening to me so often?
The dejavu's that i have are allways pointless things, not on any serious matters i don't understand why this is i thought they would be happening for reasons.
And whats the deal with seeing the event before it actually happened? Has that happened to anyone else during a dejavu, please share with me?

Thats very interesting, haven't got an answer about your headaches, just that it sounds alot like "the butterfly effect" film (watch it if youve never seen it, really good film), reformating your brain everytime you change the course of your life, maybe something bad was going to happen if you bumped into that girl, can't you remember what happend in your deja vu, when you bumped into that girl, or memory just end after bumping into that girl ? lol who knows your destiny might have been to mary that girl.

Head to wikipedia and look up De Ja Vu. They'll give you some nice insight.

I get De Ja Vu very often...sometimes I'm not very sure if I've dreamt the situation or if I've lived it before.

I also go into my "own zone" to to speak...my mind wanders off into weird thoughts...and sometimes I feel like I'm not alive, like I'm falling into my mind or something. Dunno if that happens to you?

I've always thought that the future is mapped out. Almost everything that happens is supposed to happen...that's why some can see future events, because you cannot know something that has not been written yet. Is the mind that powerful? I also sometimes think that reincarnation is very real, except you never really change species as some say. I think we live the same lives, over and over and over until we get something right that we were supposed to get right before but didn't. And maybe, the subconscious mind remembers somethings and they appear as dreams, or De Ja Vu.

But those are just my thoughts...I do not know how true any of those things are, because, I cannot prove any of them. It's what I believe, but a belief is just that...a belief.

Thats exactly how i feel. Yesterday when i was walking down the street i felt a bit dizzy, i guess because i knew where i was going i didn't need to think of anything so my mind went of on a tangent and i felt to an extent that i was 3rd person view of myself.

I believe what you say about our lives being mapped out thats how we are able to see ahead of time, and those that are gifted can see large events that are to happen. I wonder if through dejavu's or when in the "own zone" state we can train ourselves to see ahead of the dejavu. The fact that dejavu's are unexplainable means the limits to which you can go with them are unknown. Perhaps we could try hard at making it usefull for no reason.

Im really puzzled on the whole topic and rather knew to these forums so i don't know what i can offer to the topic except for my own experiences.

No one really knows for sure. Through our own personal experiences we start to come up with a few ideas, but no definate answer.

It is due to what I call "reaching". I really dont know what other terms this all goes by so please have patience with me and my lingo. Reaching is easier done while sleeping. You reach out of your body and see. There comes a point when it becomes as natural as scratching your nose when it itches. So during the day when you are walking around, and you have de ja voo, your natural response is to want to see more so naturally you start "reaching" which feels just like what you and sdrawkcab have described.

You have to learn your abc's before you can read.

It is actually happening to more and more people all the time. There is a lot of info on here if you look for it. I started this thread a while ago to try and help people who were asking all the same questions you are. Searching for answers? maybe it will help you. If not, maybe you will find someone who can help you better than i can. I know Esoteric is very knowledgeable on the subject.

to make your soul connect to all. I see a déja vu as being one for an instance. to fall in to this big universe, to fall in the moment wheras past, present and future is one.

Why am i getting headspins and why do i fall into my own zone so much now?

I don't know, I have this zone too in myself. I think when you spin like that and you fall out of consciousness you'"ll be taken to a place where you need something of, or where you learn something, might be something you can't grasp while awake. it a rising of your vibration? h, try to maintain conscious while spinning and to keep up this vibration! to get this spinning under control, like be the spinning and it shall end you up in one place where you might feel stronger then before.

Why is this happening to me so often?

don't you enjoy it!

The dejavu's that i have are allways pointless things, not on any serious matters i don't understand why this is i thought they would be happening for reasons.

I'd try to dive into this moment and to stay in there, the sensations it brings are endless but something always takes you out of this thing.

And whats the deal with seeing the event before it actually happened? Has that happened to anyone else during a dejavu, please share with me?

you might see yorusefl as a timetraveller, and you can steer such a future event into somethijng else. cause you know what about to happen and bacause of what.

I hope you had something to it, it might bring up more questions to yourself, which will be..

you might want to read my explanation in my thread, greetings travellers of the mind. it's at the end of that page.

greets

Check this out! You can 'create' the De Javu' experience with hypnosis. (They were doing this to try to figure out just exactly what De Javu' actualy is).

Here's the jist of what they found.
Memory is a two part process. If the mind skips the 1st of the two steps, we get the sensations of De Javu'. Pretty cool.

If you consider Time as a stationary wave... then dejavu can be explained as a random occurrence which alters the amplitude at a certain point... effectively a "Bump" in time.

As we travel up one side of this bump we also experience the relative point on the other side of the bump... creating the appearance of 2 separate yet identical events... thats my 2 cents.

Funnily i've had Serious Dejavu this last week... and im not the only one.... 4 other people have said that they had a serious dejavu event or two in the last week... Mine came whilst playing Rome Total War and continued for a good 5 minutes... a friend of mine had the same feeling on Wednesday during a chess match and several people had a simultaneous feeling of dejavu during our last day of college today (yay!).

So personally i think that in this last week something big has happened... i'd never heard of a mass (6 folk) dejavu until today... but yes.. something big enough to give such a contained dejavu effect in such a short space of time must be worth speculating on...

I totally felt this as well. The Dejavu lasted way longer than any previoius Dejavu experiences. I had about 4-5 of them in about a week's timeframe. Very cool!

ok been a few months since i have been on this sight hehe.
So just after this week i have had a big weekend of the mind i guess.
I have had a few random dejavu's this weekend although what has stood out this week and more so then others. Is that instead of getting dejavu's as i have usually been getting, i have just known what was about to happen in some instances as apposed to the whole dejavu mechanics. For example friday night bfore i went out i was just watching tv their was something on that involved turning over boxes. I new exactly which ones were the right one its like when i looked at the boxes i cud see through them in my mind(i had to think about them and concentrate, but i got them all right). Then on saturday i had a few dejavu conversations and today (sunday) at a tournament for sport i was knocked out then in the final the 2 players one was winning over the other guy i had no idea who was going to win then just when the match was almost over i knew exactly what was going to happen. I didn't feel a dejavu i knew what was going to happen. Was quite odd as in the past i've only ever had dejavu's.

Didn't we already have this conversation before? Perhaps I am experiencing yet another cosmic quantum hiccup.

as far as I know there's been a few hypnosis experiments and nothing conclusive has been drawn from them. It's near enough impossible to study as it's only a "feeling".

Anyway, the test humans were shown a board with a word and image on and then hypnotised to forget the board. The "feeling" was stirred in some of the test humans when shown the board a second time.
