Néctar, a popular band from Peru have died in a tragic bus accident in Buenos Aires, Argentina. All passengers in the bus died. Nine band members died in addition to assistants and bodyguards. The band was very popular and had a hit in Latin-America and USA with the song El arbolito.

Thirteen people, including a popular cumbia band, died early Sunday when their van veered off an elevated highway, plunged to the ground below and burst into flames, authorities said.

This famous and outstanding Peruvian “cumbia” music band that is very popular in Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Ecuador, left a huge amount of hits and broken hearts.


The band was directed by the singer Jhonny Orozco. It was formed in 1995 and it had its most outstanding moment in 2000 with the song “El Arbolito” (The little tree) that reached the first positions in the ranking.

Thats a real shame,realy unlucky!I wonder how many other bands have been wiped out with tour bus acidents?

I notice they had a theme with their vids!very pleasing on the eye!
