Is God sending punishment to US?

After reading articles on Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) it seems so. In 1995 they were attacked by IED (Improvised Explosive Device), similar to the IEDs used today in Iraq against American soldiers and others. Seems like wrath of God, at least WBC says so. Also, a lot of people forgot about commandments, so if Bible is correct God is punishing all of us.

Yeah while watching the war in iraq "god" decided that plagues earthquakes floods and bolts of lightning and asteroids were not efficient enough so he switched to IEDS. Plus he saw the cool bombs in the movie Swordfish....

No it's not a joke or sarcasm, but i am aware it's touchy subject and they are maybe insane. But all they do is following what Bible says. Every little bit WBC supports with sometimes multiple quotes from Bible.

so you follow the whole bible? like the kosher laws? all the other laws in the old testament too? you kill disobediant children, rape victims that didn't scream loud enough, and those who break the 10 commandments?

You're kidding right? You think that god is punishing America when they are so many poor and starving countries and people around the world. Many countries in Africa, South America, Asia, that are so impoverished that they would give their right arm to just live here and you think god is punishing us. I think a lot of people not just here but also in other wealthy nations should leave the comfort of their home and visit these third world countries.If you're looking for punishment from god, look at what has already been wrought.

Wouldn't it make sense that if God is going to punish a country; that he would punish the evil people in that country.

Why is he waiting so long to punish the rapist, murderers, sodomites, and tax cheaters that are still running around free, terrorizing the rest of us God fearing folk?

Sometimes the evil doers get sent to jail but that's not God doing it; It's the Cops.

Are you referring to tornados, hurricanes, volcano eruptions and tsunami's?

Seems like God is pretty pissed at everyone on earth not just the good ole US of A.

You need to thank God for evil and oppression and like it.

God lets rain (and drought) happen to people, regardless of their spiritual status.

God, Jesus, Christ, Buddha, Santa and the easter bunny doesn't have anything to do with with punishments done by extremist or wanna be terrorist.

But I agree with my boy, God isnt punishing America. The US is being punished by their own leaders, not by foreign countries.

A corrupt house cannot stand. As you can see, the White House and its Reps are crumbling. Everyone is resigning or being exposed as the crooks they are.

The only one that punish people with power is themselves because Power doesnt corrupt, it exposes. If you were crooked before you had power, obtaining power only magnifies it. Thats why the higher ups in the US Seats are falling.
