DJMessiah, it certainly appears that way. I see nothing good happening for that part of the world. I really don't. Unless something drastically changes over there,
it don't look good to me.

Unfortunately, its these settlement building activities on disputed land that keep adding fuel to the perpetual fire that are israel/palestianian relations. You already know how the palestians will react to this...

Lol, i think its so funny when people take sides on this issue.

Both sides are equally drenched in each other's blood, in fact, they're knee deep in it.

And furthermore, ethnically speaking, these people are often brethren, fellow Semites, descendants of Shem. Abraham and Mohammad also claimed descent from Shem. The word Semite comes from S(h)emite. It's sad.. that neither side wants peace.

Last year's war with Hezbollah in Lebanon was a precursor to this years or next years war. The next one will involve Hezbollah, Syria, possibly Iran, Hamas, Fatah militants (though not the Fatah security forces, whom are a powerless little plastic police token force), Somali/Libyan/Egyptian (Cu#es) militants smuggled northward, Arab militants supporting the Hamas/Fatah, and Iranian militants supporting Hezbollah.

They will attack on all fronts; Syria wants Golan Heights back and is intent on taking it by force after seeing the weakness in Israel's forces last year. They're building up on the border as we speak. Hezbollah has been amassing its forces north of the Litani river, which curves around into a semi circle facing the coast line. This gives them an inside-Lebanon base right by the border with Syria to smuggle to and fro, be it fighters, equipment, weapons, whatever. And should they need to flee, Syria would likely let them cross over the border to relative safety. They've rebuilt the damages taken to their bunkers which are underestimated and almost unknown of to mainstream media, which are connected by underground tunnels and are complete with uncoverable, underground launching stations for missiles such as Katyushas, which can thus go undetected. We're talking Vietnam style. Some tunnels go right to the Israeli border, some are rumored to cross it. Hezbollah has also been practicing massive troop movements from North of the Litani river to South of it, unopposed by UNIFIL or anyone else, in obvious preparation. They've been getting arms shipments via the air, because UNIFIL and Israel have both complained about their inability to stop it.

Hamas has been modeling their fighting positions for wartime quite similar to Hezbollah, after learning some techniques from them from the previous war. Anything Hezbollah did is being mimicked right now by the larger terror organizations w/actual manpower. They've built underground bunkers and tunnels as well, and also have smuggling tunnels from Sinai to Gaza. Both Hamas and Hezbollah have been re-arming where needed.

Please see DEBKAfile, which is an Israeli 'secret media reports' website in English which is openly critical of the Israeli Government, but has quite a bit of accurate and interesting stories each week about current troop deployments, build ups, movements of terrorists, middle eastern affairs.

They've had the inside knowledge on alot of stuff before it actually happened, and keep track of things like the 3 Israeli soldiers currently "missing" from last year after being captured. They claim Al-Qaeda in Palestine is holding one of them along with BBC Reporter Johnston.

Honestly, why does anyone even bother to tell Israel anything anymore? Israel is like a rebellious teenager with angst against their parents. They wont listen to any advice and they will do everything their own way.

Looks like I turned into a ventriloquist...

I wanted to post the same thing, but when I read further down... I saw you beat me to it.

This is nothing new, while they destroy homes and villages of Palestinians, murder innocent people, they build atop the blood drenched soil. What goes around will come around. They are digging their own hole. They've been warned countless times, they've been shielded even more, but sooner or later something is going to happen and it won't be good for either side. Much of this has to do with our protection of Israel. If we had been fair and balanced rather then being partial towards them there would not have been so much bloodshed and perhaps the Palestinians would not be oppressed so much. I believe since they have yet to be punished or corrected due to our constant vetoing of any Security Council actions that maybe they actually believe what they are doing is right. A child that goes uncorrected through its life will not know the difference between right and wrong.
