Hi masqua, looks like your question is being well handled by fellow ATS'ers at
this
thread.
I'll just add that the U.S. requires a net inflow of close to $3 BILLION in capitol from foreigners everyday...just to to keep the engine sputtering.
However, every now & again our gracious benefactors forget to play their part...as in December 06 when net inflow of foreign capitol fell from $90
Billion Dollars to $15.5 Billion. No problem though...just print-up a batch of new digital $ and buy a few bonds....
....and don't worry about John Q. He will NEVER-EVER understand that this is the real reason he's just never able to get ahead, and stay ahead. When
he comes knocking, just make him another loan...sub-prime?...heh heh!...have I got a deal for you!
Peace &
Good Fortune
