How would I make this my avatar?

I want that small video as my avatar, but I do not know how to make it work as an avatar. can someone please help me.

take images of it, then make it an animated .gif

And make it my avatar first, THEN post an explanation of how to do it.

But I won't. It's too big a file anyway, I think.

Nope, it didnt work. Can a forum staff please help me do this.

1. Its video, not a gif so you can't post like an image.
2. Its going to be too large for an avatar or a sig.
3. Get a conversion program and conver the frames into pictures for a gif.

Where can I get a program that will do that??

Do a search for gif conversion programs or video to gif conversion anything in that area. tucows.com has some good ones also, you may have to do a little searching though

Pizza, I can make it into an avatar for you. But you will probably have to select a shorter section of that clip. That whole thing is going to be way too big for an animated avatar. I suppose I'll convert it over and stuff and see what the size will be and then you can decide what part of it you'll want. I'm guessing you'll only be able to have a few seconds of it though. Probably 5 or so seconds, maybe more, I won't really know till I convert it over.

Ok, it's converted over to gif and it's REALLY LONG and TOO BIG!! (keep your mind out of the gutter!! )

What were you really going for as far as the animation goes. Basically it can be broken into these sections from start to finish:
-Dorthy Sleeping (close up)
-M&M Takes Dorthy's Hat
-Dorthy wakes up, looks shocked (close up)
-Dorthy sits up and grabs M&M, M&M lays her back down
-Dorthy talking (close up)
-M&M's talking, Dorthy shaking fist & Pointing at M&M's
-Dorthy talking, looking upset (close up)
-Dorthy talking to M&M's until the end

I'm making a short short short version that will hopefully be small enough and still look cool. I'll post it soon.

I know it's chopped up a lot from the original but it's very hard making the file small enough while animated. This is about the best I can get it. If I shrink the size of the Avatar I might be able to add a few more frames or increase the resolution quality, but not by much. (BTW right now it's 150 wide x 120 tall)

It's basically the same except I took it down to:
-D. Sleeping
-M&M Takes Hat
-D. Looks Shocked
-D. Grabs(Strangles) M&M, but M&M pushes her back down.
-D. Gives M&M a confused/upset expression
-Fade to black
