A good little bit of info

I got this in an email, good little piece for all of you that hate the USA, maybe its not all George Bush you should be worried about!

Historical Significance

Sixty-three years ago, Nazi Germany had overrun almost all of Europe and hammered England to the verge of bankruptcy and defeat. The Nazis had sunk more than 400 British ships in their convoys between England and America taking food and war materials.

At that time the US was in an isolationist, pacifist mood, and most Americans wanted nothing to do with the European or the Asian war.

Then along came Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and in outrage Congress unanimously declared war on Japan , and the following day on Germany , who had not yet attacked us. It was a dicey thing. We had few allies.

France was not an ally, as the Vichy government of France quickly aligned itself with its German occupiers. Germany was certainly not an ally, as Hitler was intent on setting up a Thousand Year Reich in Europe . Japan was not an ally, as it was well on its way to owning and controlling all of Asia .

Too long of a post or to hard to swallow the facts?

As a side note more people died on Clintons watch than did in all of Iraq.

Funny noone ever brings this up.

Let us not forget Vietnam, the only war in US history that was fought with "Rules" developed by liberal politicians & US civilian pacifist. It didn't work then & it will not work now. War is war & IMOA Iraq will not be a success until the innocent friendly population is identified & relocated, battle lines drawn & the terriorist along with their physical emplacements are totally eradicated by all out no holds barred military engagement by a superior force. Driving around waiting for someone to blow up your vehicle is not the way to win a war.

Redseal, I agree 100% It's time mankind made the next step in our societal evolution...we have been in the same place as cultures for far too long...

The problem is we are going to have to rid ourselves of some unsavory elements within society before we can make that next leap...

I'm all for moderate Islam making the leap with the rest of humanity..unortunately, radical Islam, radical Christianity are going to have to be left behind...

We still allow portions of our overall society to behave as cavemen, if we are ever gonna make the next step...we are going to have to leave some of our more radical relations behind!
