...Power station harnesses Sun's rays

Utterly Amazing concept, and a surreal example of what can be done, to harness the sun, rather than rely on depleteing fossil fuels or harmful pollutant based nuclear power stations.

There may also be an on demand of the report which was broadcast on BBC News 24, where you can get a better look at the mirrors

Now, who wants one?

Here in Ontario Canada we have politicans and energy groups pushing for more nuclear and others saying wake up and smell the coffee of nuclear waste.
GO GREEN
I will take Seven please.
I will also take 14 Plasmagarbage generators and four wave driven ocean powerplants
thats in two weeks please.

PS awsome post

LOL,

I can do all that, with free delivery, now if can I just scan the rfidchip sewn into your arm???

I think that every state, city and nation should be ordering these things, because it could help to bring down the unrelenting attack on the worlds natural resources, but I think that needs to be a mainstream argument with perhaps endorsement form a few 'Green' do-gooders - (actors, wannabe American Idol castoffs, etc.).

I mean come on!! who doesn´t have sunshine?

The costs will also go down based on demand I reckon, just imagine buying this tech in the future, for your own home! - No more rip-off prices charged by the electric companies, HURRAY!!!

It might also double as a 'free tanning center', if the light can be channeled right!!

What no conspiracy theory about this one?...

...OK, then being as you asked telepathically: If this can generate electricity, and what with the heat at source being so intense, maybe the sun's rays could be harnessed to cretae a sort of high intensity Light beam weapon - to blind the enemy or burn them to a crisp.

If only we could invent the technology to harness the power of rain, then the UK would be totally energy-independant

Yes but will it be the 'right' kind of rain? LMAO!!

I heard that water was harnessed, to produce a real flame, which was used in a blow torch! Perhaps this is what will be done with this technology.

QUOTE FROM ARTICLE:

'The vision is of the sun-blessed lands of the Mediterranean - even the Sahara desert - being carpeted with systems like this with the power cabled to the drizzlier lands of northern Europe. A dazzling idea in a dazzling location.'

I reckon this structure might even form part of a defense initiative, if the rays could be somehow harnessed in the future.

here is your water torch and the resulting water car

youtube.com...

the university of saskatchwan I believe found they could make electricy with water by forcing it through tiny holes and it built a charge that would be a battery!
yes water + holes = electricity

I have found seven different water cars on Youtube and more engines that run on water.
they control people through the sale of energy
they control people through the mainpulation of false science and if they were serious then we would be there TOMORROW.
but they will not.
You can build your own water car tomorrow, don't expect them to sell you one, and what they will sell you will require you buy the hydrogen or charge the battery through the gird

you can plasmagenerator all your garbage into electricity...you can antigravity, you can do anything, but will they tell you they have it or make the change to green natural systems since they have the power?
They will not, they are evil, and control the people through the ways I explained.

Whoa Junglelord!

I just got a big slice of conspiracy pie!! good point, cause I heard some expert in this water field, was bumped off.

But then, based on your ideas, why would they make a solar generator, based on the sun's rays?

Intergalactic Electricity based on the proximity of the sun?

nothing wrong with nuclear waste in canada...the waste from CANDU units is contained in the fuel bundles and the storage containers, and stored in a safe, secure and reliable manner... don't be ignorant.
