Israel's foreign minister has called on Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to resign in the wake of a report critical of his handling of last year's war in Lebanon.

Tzipi Livni said she would not resign or try to oust Mr Olmert, but would stand as a candidate to replace him.

Maybe it would be better if he left office by his free will. After the Lebanon fiasco and its findings , who still has faith in such a PM?

Who knows with a new PM there the peace talks might get underway again.

Olmert fighting to stay in power

It really amazes me how power hungry politicians really are

You would think that after all that happened he would just step back and let others cleanup the mess.

When will he start listening to the people? This is why people get tired of politics and stop going to vote, because when in power these politicians do what they want without listening to the people.

She has kind of a deep sexy voice when she speaks in Hebrew...I have no idea what she's saying, but I find myself wanting to agree with her....
