Lord Browne stunned the City in January when he announced that he would retire in July from the company where he had spent his entire career. The
announcement of his retirement, a year earlier than expected, coincided with the time his former boyfriend contacted the Mail on Sunday with
allegations about their relationship.
Lord Browne has not commented publicly on the allegations but the High Court was told that most of them “were false or misleading”.
I agree i admire the fact that he alway's wanted to keep his private life private it's just backfired on him by lying to the High Court which has
lead to this and the bad run BP took during the past year means he has been made the scapegoat. But at least he is a ten million pounds richer
scapegoat.
