It's a Psychobilly Freakout!

My latest musical obsession Psychobilly!!

What is psychobilly? Well to put it simply it is punked up rockabilly. many of the more "traditional" psychobilly songs have a B-movie/horror influance (see en.wikipedia.org... for more)

Note if there are any fans on here, don't get excited if I veer from the strict definition of a Psychobilly band.

First we have the Meteors playing the Graveyard stomp. The Meteors are pretty much the first real psychobilly band.



Next up the Nekromantix with Gargoyles Over Copenhagen


The Horrorpops Featuring the singer/bass player of the above band, and his girlfriend/wife Patricia . (She is teh hotness) I love this song

Two Reverend Horton Heat vids just because they are cool. (And because I have a Reverend Horton Heat sig Gretsch)

Well no one can claim I like popular music

I like some psychobilly, Rev horton heat being my favorite. They put on a great live show as well. If you havn't already, you should check out tiger army.

The Rev and the Cramps are both great live, Cug you should have put up the vid from Creature from A black Leather Lagoon, best cramps song ever IMO, though they do a nice rendition of her love ran off (though that is a Carl Perkins song I believe)
