Astronomers from Switzerland, France and Portugal report they\'ve discovered the most Earth-like planet outside our Solar System to date, according to a report in ZeeNews.com.

Scientists say the planet has a radius only 50 percent larger than Earth, and is very likely to contain liquid water on its surface.

How exciting is this story for ATS'ers. Personally, I think stories like this have been a long time coming and I expect similar stories to be released of other similar planets in the near future.
Hopefully mankind sees this for what it is, our next target. We finally have a goal to work towards outside of our solar system, how best should we go about getting there now?

However I\'m sure this won\'t interest corporate America unless they also discover an abundant labor pool to tap on it?
