Hi baked!!
UH - no idea, I'm afraid, as to how often SETI update their candidates page. Sorry
The *last* update I'm aware of is given in the right hand side under "News": "December 4, 2003
Here is a brief summary and current status of our reobservations...."
I imagine it is "simply" that there are *so* many candidates (or, rather, data collected) that need analysing (by the 4820344 or so users of
SETI@home!!) that the list itself isn't updated very often??
Certainly, some of the info on the web site seems in need of updating - look, for example, at the "Future Directions" page
setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu...
and note how the project timeline was last updated in Dec 2002 (which *must* be a typo??)
Still, as they are on restricted funds, I'd rather have what money they have channelled into research rather than have constantly updated pages!!
