As an American I admire the leadership and boldness of Boris Yeltsin almost as much as I do Mikhail Gorbachev's. I consider both to be heroes
especially today in a time of such apparent terror and bloodshed. Both, as far as I am concerned should be considered heroes and Ambassadors of
Peace. These two men saved millions of lives through their actions.
My question to you is this, with Putin being more or less the anti-Gorbachev/Yeltsin does this just help to strengthen the communist side of the
Russian government/people since I am certain Putin will say and do as little as possible to get past Yeltsin's death?
Was this a premeditated attack on the first President to help substantiate Putin's (hidden) military/political power or was it just old age and some
good Vodka?
Second, what will be of Russia in the next fifty years or so? Will they become capitalists or Communists? With Putin steering the ship I have no
clue?
