It's part of the Nellis Range. Just a speculation really...

This is quite intresting. Nellis AFB is going Solar. This will have another advantage, they don't have to send in power from the outside which will make the base much more self sufficient.

The basic extention of reasoning suggest that they would apply this to the whole military complex in the desert including Groom Lake. That said, how exactly did you get on Groom Lake? As far as I can see neither to origional post, nor the Article mention Groom Lake.

Did I miss something?

well it makes sense considering they are in the middle of the desert with lots of sun...why would this be anything conspiracy related?

Who said anything about a consparicy? All I was suggesting is that Groom Lake (Area 51) might also go solar for the purpose of convienence.
