Terrorist Attack today on U.S. Soil?

Do you think that there will be a terrorist attack today considering today is New Years Eve?

I highly doubt that this would happen due to the fact of the increased security everywhere.

I suspect there will be several attempts, but I'm hoping security will prevail. I do not, however, expect anything along the lines of 9-11. With all the security and intel in place now, after 9-11, it's going to be really hard for a terrorist group to execute such a detailed massive plan without it being detected beforehand.

Why? Because of a few reasons.

1) Security
2) New Year's Eve is an extremely high profile target, sure, ya would think that terrorists would be aiming for this, BUT, they know that the security is at least 80% higher than normal, so why risk it? Maybe if they had no sanity at all, but I think there is still some left. They would probably be aiming for something with less of a profile, a sneak attack so to speak. I dunno, just my opinion, but I highly doubt something will happen today..I could be wrong..let's wait and see shall we?
