A mysterious aerial device falls in Somalia.

www.shabelle.net

Ilyas spoke of the device, telling that in the daylight it glitters and in a nighttime, it turns lights and speaks a strange language which can’t be understood by the villagers.

Do you think this might be what they thought crashed back then only it took so long to get out of the jungles down there? Sounds like a very strange village since no can understand what the language is assuming of course it is an object from earth.

Not much on them other then when they were founded and the reasons the founded the TV/radio and media network.

Seems ligit though.

The Shabelle Media Network, television and radio network was found in Merca, Somalia on 01/02/2002, by a group of media professional, Business men and intellectual personalities. The network was launched in Merca, Lower Shabelle Region, Somalia, on 6th of May 2002.

'Jungles', Somalia is an arid semi dry sub tropical desert, there are no jungles there. Most of the vegitation is short scrub similar to what you see in places like Arizona, Nevada.

According to the story this happened over a month ago.

Locals in Somalia are usually pretty fluent in the following languages, dependamt on the area: Somali, Ethiopian, Italian, Franch, Arabic and some English. Dialects of peoples close to the borders of the following countries can also communicate in the local tribal languages of Kenya, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Asmara and Eritrea. One of the major reasons why there has been very little development in this casae is the highly dangerous situation in the country. Areas are still run by warlords, the people just don't trust anyone. There is no infrastructure in the country to follow up on issues, people are supersitious, and would tend to just keep away from the area as it would be classed as a bad place.
Anyone wandering into Somalia to expolre the area over the crash would more than likely end up dead.

Thank you for that explanation, Mukiwa. Isnt it ironic that something of that caliber would fall in a place where there's apparently no access and news getting out is limited to the world?

Too bad it didnt happen in a more accessible place.
