Is this a real mushroom cloud?

As we all know nothing like this goes unreported

No it is actually a forest fire.

If it was an underground explosion there wouldn't be a mushroom cloud. That's one point of having them underground. However, many things cause what appear to be mushroom clouds.

That's a forest fire.

Note all of the trees there.

Also note that there isn't an explosion, if it were one, there would be fire everywhere.

Hmmm. What is it?

1) Forest fire?
2) Nuclear (silent?) blast mush. cloud?
3) Natural weather Phenomenom?
4) Other advanced mil. weapon?

I think if it was a forest fire the persons reporting it would have known about a fire in the local area. After all this is rural area, news travels fast...

Living in southern Utah, as I am now, and having seen numerous forest fires around here, I can tell you, that is a forest fire, because I've seen it myself.

What causes the white top is all the water being dumped on it by planes, and the moisture in the trees burning.. it creates the white cloud.

Besides, don't you think if that were some kind of explosion, that massive, that people from all over that area would have raised hell and it would have been the top story in the news for months?

Relax, it's just a forest fire.
