I think this kiddy version of mouthwash is alcohol-free.

Ah, well that makes sense then. That's pretty lame though. How do they expect kids to engage in proper oral hygiene if they can't get good and tight in the process?

Well, here we go again. Is there an agenda here? We've been hearing about a lot of recalls. Why are hearing so much recently?

I swear it reminds me of 911. "We must be protected from terrorism," the government says.

Now what, "Terrorists are contaminating our food or something of that nature. We must take measures to protect ourselves."

Let's look at some of the recent recalls and similar.

Peanut butter
Taco Bell
Spinach
Dogfood/Gluten

As has already been mentioned, yet looked over is the fact that this is not a mouthwash but merely a visuaul agent that shows children where the plaque on their teeth is. You know I bought a bottle a few months back just to see how it worked. Guess I will dispose of it properly now.

That blue sure does stain though.

For crying out loud, what else do we need to be afraid of?
Next thing we'll hear about botulism in milk. Tell me how scary that would be.

I can see the marketing campaign for it now...

"Milk, it does a body good...Now with free botox!"

"Got Botox?"

Seriously, this is ridiculous.
I'm still furious about the pet food thing by the way.

Now, I used to work in a lab that produced a certain product.
Where as, the actual manufacturing crew was...hmmm (how can I say this without being mean?...)...less than intellectually well-rounded, no matter what, any screw-ups in production were always caught by the QA guy (who happens to be a very bright and methodical microbiologist) who was actually a one man team.
So, if this little company I worked for can maintain a respectable level of QA with one guy, and these massive corporations cannot (even with the massive QA teams that they employ, with state of the art equipment no less) than what does that say about the efficiency and respectability of corporate America?
Not a lot, that's for sure.

It's horrifying.

Oh, and I have to ask:
What happened with peanut butter?
I haven't heard anything about that.

I posted a thread updating the peanut butter incident...

Moisture in Peanut Butter Caused Salmonella

If there is some conspiracy here, it most likely is not a corporate one. I'm quite certain more money has been lost through missed business and reputation damage than has been gained through medical bills.
