Heres a senario for you.The Scottish elections are taking place and it looks as thought the SNP are going to win.Now lets say they do ok and in 4 years time the Scots vote for full independance.
What happens to England without us Scots?
They will have to move the uk trident fleet to England,pay the £30 billion to up grade on their own,bring national service back to take up the shortfall of soldiers as the scots wont be there?As well as paying £8 billion for the London olympics etc etc.
Would they become a more powerful nation or sink further from world importance?

Just because the Scots get the vote doesn't mean they will vote for it.

Independence is an issue that is shakey in Scotland, it has its highs and lows. The polls show that a crediable majority would never vote for it. The SNP would not take indpedendence on a majority of 51%

This is why the English/uk gov tell lies that the scots cannot go it alone and how the newspapers have hidden the truth from the scottish people.
