I didn't see this reported here on ATS, so I thought I would post the story.
On the evening of April 2, 2007 aerial lights were seen and photographed over Jilin University in Changchun City in northeastern China, and over the
Shijiazhuang Airport in northern China.
The photographs of the strange objects were published in "The People's Daily", who admitted openly that Authorities did not know what it was. Object over Jilin University Object over Shijiazhuang Airport Source Another Source
Indeed, this is not the first time an unidentified flying object has appeared in or around this same area: Older reports

Cool pictures. Could be plasma or natural phenomena? To hard to say if you ask me.
Everyone always talks about the US and Russia when it comes to conspiracies and UFOs. I think China is just as important, if not more important.
They are defenitely invloved.
I heard a while back that there were UFOs that were reportedly flying into volcanoes in some remote part of China.
