I would like to ask the French users of this forum a question. The campaigning committee of one of French presidential candidates, Monsieur Sarkozy, has recently sent me this letter:

Bonjour,

The websites themselves, however, do not mention any military buildup plan, so I would like to ask you: how exactly does Monsieur Sarkozy want to strengthen the French military if he wins (and he will surely win)?

Hmm i have no idea really the only thing i heard when he was interviewed (1 month ago or something) is that he's ok to build a new nuclear submarine.

A polemic went down during this interview because he didn't know how many sub marines ("for attacks") we have currently.... he said we've got four and actually it's six and we've got four others for "missiles launches"

This guy is an ex-lawyer anyway that explain a lot lol

Oh i just found some info about his "plans" about defense>>here

Good reading

As a lawyer he should know that no law will be obeyed if there's no one to force people to obey it. The world is identical - global treaties will not be obeyed, and no nation will be safe, if there will be no one to fight the aggressors.

some info about his plans

I'm sorry, I don't speak French. I only understand that he intends to 1) okay the programs started by the DDV government 2) create the National Security Council.
