Any PSOne Lovers Out There?

Back when the Playstation was popular I modded it and rented about 150 games in 6 months and copied them.

I'm still hooked on the games. I like.....

Dino Crisis II
Americas Craziest Police Chaces
Syphon Filter 3
Tony Hawk 3

There are so many classics.

I think that the new games don't get better they just get longer. I played some 360 first person games and thought that the graphics are better but not better enough to upgrade my system.

So buy Sony's rules I should renew everything every 3 years. Where talking about at least a thousand dollars.

That's part of the marketing. They know and profit off of everyones insecurities. Hey, you just wasted hundreds of dollars on a new game system and games, but you can show everyone that you are successfull becase you have the latest technologies.

People just get so wrapped up in what everyone thinks of them and they don't realize that major Corporations are exploiting them for that.

Sorry! I didn't mean to sound rude to thouse with the new systems. I just think everyone gets too caught up with keeping up with the Joneses!

I did a post in the 'What's you fave games' thread a while back, and a few of the titles were psone legend titles, like the original GTA, tekken series, gran turismo 2 and of course, metal gear solid, made it onto my list.

I also liked Soviet Strike and V Rally

Honestly, psone sucked.. I still played my n64 when psone came out.. But when I seen that ps2 was coming out, I needed to spend the extra $200 for the enchanced graphics, and much more powerful games as well as story lines.. You can just fit much more into a more powerful console.. ps3, in my opinion sucks.. It's all about the 360.. The online community is great, and the games are awsome.. Back in the NES days, I never would have dreamed of playing with over 50 people on a platform game.. From another country at that.. And you tell me that it's all about "keeping up with the Jonses" nuh uh... It's not about that.. If someone really loves games, they will spend $4000 just to become the character in that game..

Tenchu Stealth Assassin was great. I also enjoyed that one game "Bushido one or another..." Forgot it's name. (You fought in Japan with Samurai swords or other Japanese weapons against opponents.) Really enjoye that game. I still have my original Playstation console from 1995!

However, I do also own an XboX360 where I believe Halo and Splinter Cell rocks. But that's just my opinion.

I have a PS2,XBOX 360,Gamecube and a PS1.
And i still find myself always going back to the PS1.
Alot of good games to still be played on there.
I have a goal of beating every Final Fantasy made for PS1.
I beat FF7,still have 8 and 9 to go.
So,ya im a PS1 fan.

Man. Final Fantasy is a long game. I played VIII for 10 hours a day for six months to complete. That pretty much burnt me out on playing games for a very long time. I lost interest in video games. Main reason why is because I'm too poor to afford palying. Actually, I'm too poor to do anything with my life anymore. Oh, well! Maybe I'll get lucky and find someone that is willing to give me a small nudge.

Nothing can beat Final fantasy VII on the PS1
It was/still is amazing!
Lots of games now are just better graphics but the story lines in them are dull and tedius
they should spend less time on just the graphics and more on actual game play

I loved psone for ABES ODDESSY and METAL GEAR SOLID also i remember enjoying RESIDENT EVIL 1 & 2
