This thread is most probably opened somewhere, but I couldnt find it. If you find it please post here. If it is not discussed, I want to discuss here the latest theories and findings on the possible origins of life on earth and in the universe.

I believe most amino acids were brought to Earth by meteorites. When the Earth was in it's youngest phase is was constantly bombarded by meteorites; constantly adding new matter.

Scientists have found that some meteorites contained at least 70 different amino acids, 21 of which are used by life on Earth. Experiments have also shown that not only did these amino acids survive the impact, but that the energy liberated by the impact even catalyzed a chemical reaction that fused amino acids into larger proteins.

Which are one of the fundamental parts of life

I think we need to clarify the chicken and egg argument here. Amino acids are only useful if a mechanism exists for these to be built into proteins. The proteins are only useful if they can be replicated and that mechanism needs RNA (ribonucleic acid) as a minimum requirement; which needs free nucleotides, ribose sugar and phosphoric acids.....Oh and the list goes on. God made the Universe and all life and has shown His artistry in the creation of his finest creation with:
a) consciousness
B)ability to use linguistic symbolism and recursive thought (e.g. I thought you would think' etc...)
The greatest challenge to evolution lies at the molecular level with a useful explanation of how the single cell was formed. The alternative must be shocking to you.

Hello manastin,

This thread is being used (or was being) as a repository for OOL info:

We know little about how life started. But there's still more evidence to abiogenesis than there is to your god. Shocking isn't it
