A truly outstanding pick of scenarios! Not only did I laugh my bum off, but I was reminded of the human side of this wonderful blissful place that we call OUR Universe. I wonder if IT is rather the other way around...perhaps the Universe is glad that we are here. Must be something to it if we are here to serve a purpose in this mystical dust in which we live.

35 years ago I had a schoolmate that made a remarkable statement that I have never forgotten. Each time that I think of it I am reminded of Jimmy. It is very succinct and simple....

"If we were to have the capability to cruise through the universe, as deep as we may, we would never find a Brick Wall."

I would like to add an additional thought to the subject of Deep Space. We are all agreed that the fastest thing in the universe is LIGHT. I agree to a certain extent, as it is a physical element. However there is yet another imagination element that dwarfs the speed of light... the speed of thought.

The human imagination simply cannot be limited in any way. It is boundless in projection, totally Infinite.
If anyone has any comments to add, please do.

No matter how big those stars are we are not insignificant because those stars no matter how many particles they are made up from do not hold intelligent thought, they just exist they have no choices, and we little specs can decide to visit them one day from a small rock that we are based on.

I don`t need your "God" to have thought on disposal.
I don`t need high force to guide me.
My atoms have been assembled in the stars.
I`m stardust.
My life has come to be by unimaginable low chance of events.. for what I`m grateful and I`m living real life with evidence and proves.
If god have purpose in all his creations, what is then the vast
space created for ?
If God created the universe.. Who created God ?
And who created the God's creator anyway.. endless regression.

You have failed to exceed your own blindness and you satisfy your small brain with your god.
Tell him when you see em, that he #ed up things, because I have never seen worse design as human beings have.
Tell him also that my mother believes in him and she will be very disappointed when I go in hell and we get split.
Also tell him his 10 commandments suck hard, because they don`t include child abuse for example. (and many other suckass actions)
Maybe u enjoy the last one, because it is not forbidden.

I wish somehow this fanatic world gets better. At least I hope for the future of my kids it will become less delusional and more reasonable.

PS: I registered just to answer this naive, selfish and "small" individual, who seems to annoy the visitors to death.
I just couldn't resist.

That ideology alone will never help find Ones greater Self.

We are by far insignificant. Greatness isn't measure by size. That's a human misconception and deliberate manipulation by those who wish to control us.

There's been a genetic, purposeful, dumbing down of Humans throughout the millenium, and as we approach 2012, it is imperative that we tap into the greatness we truly are. We are all, infinite Beings.

Yeah, IMO in this case quality passes quantity. A supermassive star is quite useless compared to our minds. Or is it the other way? Anyway, when approaching the atomic level, there are certain patterns (like the spiral. or rather the golden ratio) everywhere in nature, from flowers to galaxies. Fingerprint of god, watermark of nature, call it whatever.

I think it raises some philosophical questions that we haven't been contacted by ETs yet. Are they not there? And how is that possible? Also, evolution has been pretty much proven, but the existence of evolution doesn't necesserily disapprove "God".

I think it's a matter of raising and education what you believe.
