PULLMAN — The final count of the women's underwear stolen in Pullman: 1,613 items.
So far, twelve people have come forward to say their underwear was stolen. Only one pair has been positively identified by its owner. Officers say it was of unique European origin.
Police found the 93 pounds of panties and bras when issuing a search warrant at the apartment of a 24-year-old man.
He was arrested for investigation of burglary and theft. He has not been charged.
