There is enough proof that Jesus existed to make it obvious.

Wether he is the son of god or not? Well I would say not but that is because I am atheist (uhmm perhaps agnostic, actually) and have nothing but hatred for all religions!!

Ditto, "organized" religion is just an excuse to steal peoples money, and time... A healthy personal relationship with God will go much farther than a healthy personal relationship with, say, a Catholic Priest... If, at the end of days, God feels it more important to save those belonging to "organized" religion, I will welcome death...

I have serious doubts that Jesus was a blackman. Not saying it is impossible but serious doubts.

This seems to be part of that idea that Egyptians were all black too. Not a supportable idea so far.

There are several historical documents that are widely accepted as accurate. One, The Antiquities of the Jews, written by Flavius Josephus, mentions Jesus.

Another, by Cornelius Tacitus - Governor of Asia. He referred to the persecution of the Christians caused by Nero's false accusation that the Christians had burned Rome. "Christus [Christ], the founder of the name, was put to death by Pontius Pilate, procurator of Judea in the reign of Tiberius: but the pernicious superstition, repressed for a time broke out again, not only through Judea, where the mischief originated, but through the city of Rome also".

There are others, but I don't feel like typing anymore .

It is not ONLY whites "hurting" blacks as you put it. It is the entire world, not one "race". In fact, if you think about it, ignorance about this whole "race" thing started racism. We are that of the HUMAN RACE, not the 'white race' nor the 'black race' not even the 'hispanic' or 'arab' race. We are the HUMAN RACE. If we don't start working together, this whole "The end is near" thing doesn't sound to far away, indeed, maybe it would even be a good thing. In fact, it IS a good thing, peace all around, doesn't sound bad to me. This is about certain colors hurting other certain colors, it is about global ignorance. It is not just one "race's" fault, it is all of our faults.

BTW: ZERODEEP, Jesus did exist. I, as a Catholic, fully believe that he was the Savior, atheists (Who I respect for their points of views), he did exist. Jesus was a real person. Historical and Biblical evidence proves this.

There is lots of referances to Jesus besides the bible you must admit that he was a great man. Do unto others etc; is simplely genius. Now that whole God in human form thing is a WHOLE other matter.

jesus was not the first person to express these types of beliefs..just the most popularized..buddhism for example...i think buddha was a great man..and he didnt ask people to worship his feet ...like jesus did

Funny but never comes up here is that the muslim faith also mentions Jesus and it was written many hundreds of years later than original mentions of the bible.

Why would a differing faith acknowledge a man that never existed?

I mean its not like the muslims need Jesus as the centre piece of their faith or anything do they?

Yet he is there and he appears a lot of other places too.

What proof do we have that a lot of historical figures actually existed? Anyone ever make such a list? I would like to see it that is for sure.

Then there is the old conspiracy angle whereby certain people do not want proof of christ's existance to be revealed because...

Come on man..this is not that hard to get. Jesus was born in the middle east. He would not be of the following decent(s):

A) White
B) Black
C) Hispanic

He would look like what we consider today to be "Arab"..that of the likes who live over in the Middle East. This is NOT a hard concept to get.

What part of King of the Jews is so confusing? Arabs aren't/weren't the only ones ever in the Middle East... Have you ever lived there? I have....as well as delved into it's history. All of the accounts of Jesus, not just the Bible, claim he was....get this.....JEWISH! Was he the ultimate whitie as depicted in the Church? Hell no....but if you're going to argue his ethnicity, at least look at the source of the account..... Jesus! (pun intended....) Descendant of the twelve tribes...well sure, and that was how many years prior? Oh wait, are these "god" years, like his 7 days? From available sources, the Jews of the time of Jesus were not too different looking than the Jews of today. There is NO reason to assume Jesus was somehow otherwise. Um, no. The "jews" of today are the sons of Esau. Jesus never looked like Esau. He came from the tribe of Judah, part of the 12 tribes of Israel, which came out of Africa. Just accept it.

I saw a show on pbs about those lost jewish tribes in africa...indeed they found today..african tribes that are complety jewish..it is different from what we think of of jews but they are still jews regardeless of their differnences...the tribes are very african tribal like...every thing you think about a african tribe is how these poeple are ..yet they are all jews..they did dna tests and they proved that they were positivly connected to all the other jews..even more so in alot of cases..when i say connected..i mean to the rabbis ect..only poeple of certain heritage are alowed to be rabbis and according to dna..these arfrican guys could go straight to isreal and become rabbis if they wanted because there was no doubt they were more directly decended then alot of the "mainstream jews"[i say mainstream for lack of a better word,..orthodox maybe?]
so..from all the evidence...jesus very well could have been black..i guess till you meet him[if you do hehe] we will never know
