This is some information I just heard about.

www.bushflash.com was taken down by the U.S Dept of Home Land Security. This happened because the sites owner posted a link to Death of a President a movie made in the U.K. When you visit the site you get this message.

The website that you are attempting to visit is currently offline, pending investigation of possible violations of §802 of the USA PATRIOT Act. Section 802 of the patriot act is in regard to domestic terrorism. We all know Eric Blumrich the sites owner is not a terrorist.

I did try to find out exactly what was going on. I was told that the site owner complained that Google took the movie away after he posted the link. A day later Home Land took the site down

I think this is an attack of free speech. Has anyone else heard anything about this? Please go easy on me this is my first try at bringing some news to the forum.

Have you considered that this may be an April Fool's prank? I don't think Homeland Security would have their logo placed on a website they shut down.

Comes up as "speakeasy" hosted out of Seattle if one resloves the IP name to it's numeric value and plugs it in a browser... The www name address does seem to lead to ready.gov.... despite the possibility of hoax it's all a bit funny. 69.17.116.124 - tracert is interesting. Never heard of "bushflash" before. Potentially disturbing.

You may know them better by this site which is also showing the same page.

That one resloves to the same IP number too, don't know him either. Sorry. If one does a Goog' on both the IP and the two www names some stuff perhaps of interest comes up. I tried a couple of links to other names that are associated and their sites work and mention bushflash and eric whomever.

I don't know nuthin' about US DHS stuff - and I'd prefer if they're reading this to leave me out. Yikes! It is April 1 so maybe wait a day or so Mich' and see what happens? I just wanna watch.

You can still get in to some extent with this.
www.bushflash.com...

You see, if you look at the graphic for the DHS the properties show that it's at bushflash.com/jpg/dhs_logo.gif.
So yeah...
